This week, vehicle thefts and break-ins continued. A robbery occurred just off campus at Monroe Street and 7th Street, NE, on April 4. The victim, a CUA student, was robbed by three suspects who threatened to shoot the victim, according to a police report. No weapons were seen, according to a CUA Office of Emergency Management email notification. The suspects were described as three Black males who fled towards the Brookland-CUA Metro station.

Motor Vehicle Theft: 1000 bl. Kearny St., NE (2:15 a.m.)
Destruction of Property: 12th St., NE and Otis St., NE. 54-year-old Eric Thomas was arrested and charged with Destruction of Property (2:55 a.m.)
