As the weather cools down and people begin to get ready for the leaves to change, the craving of pumpkin and apple snacks is brought upon anyone who loves fall. All over D.C., there are endless opportunities for students to try fall based desserts. 

For all the ice cream lovers, there are 6 new autumnal-inspired ice cream flavors for you to try at Ice Cream Jubilee. Ice Cream Jubilee has two locations in the D.C. area for ice cream enthusiasts to taste flavors like Apple Butter Oatmeal Cookie and Maple Rye Pecan. Ice Cream Jubilee not only offers their fall flavors but other popular flavors like Cookies & Cookie Dough and Bold Vanilla. 

The fall flavors are only available for a limited amount of time and any lovers of ice cream or fall-related things will definitely enjoy the other fall flavors. The limited fall flavors include Chocolate Barely Beer, Sesame Halva, Sweet Cream & Honey, and Whiskey Toasted Marshmallow. 

If anyone is fond of a gourmet doughnut, head over to District Doughnuts located in Eastern Market, Georgetown, The Wharf, and Union Market. The fall doughnut menu is only available until December 8th, so go to any of the locations to enjoy doughnut flavors like Sweet Potato Pie, Pumpkin Spice Latte Creme Brulee, Maple Butter Pecan, Caramel Apple Streusel, and Pumpkin Glazed. 

While including some delicious fall flavors, District Doughnuts also has lovable flavors for people who aren’t excited for fall. District Doughnuts has Vanilla Bean Glazed, Funfetti, and Chocolate Peanut Butter flavors available so all lovers of doughnuts not just fall-flavored can enjoy them. 

The highly popular Georgetown Cupcakes also joins in on the fall spirit with new monthly flavors. This October, they have popular autumn-inspired flavors like Pumpkin Cheesecake and Pumpkin Spice. They also have unique Halloween flavors like Chocolate Toffee Spider Web, Midnight Cookies and Creme, and Vampire Red Velvet. And if you’re just a plain vanilla or chocolate lover, don’t worry, you can still join in on the Halloween festivities by getting a Chocolate Ghost or Vanilla Bat cupcake. 

Lastly for all the coffee enthusiasts out there, check out Ebenezers Coffeehouse on F Street NE. This fall, they are featuring Salted Caramel Pumpkin Lattes and Pumpkin Pie Lattes made right on the spot. And for those not into the “PSL” type of drink, there are plenty of specialty drinks only made there like their Honey Lavender Latte. 

For all those who don’t want to leave campus to get a taste of fall, just head over to the Starbucks on the third floor of the Pryz to try out some classics like the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Salted Caramel Mocha. You can also try some returning fall snacks like the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin and the Cat Cake Pop. Don’t miss out on the new Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew which is new to the menu this season. 

These various fall-flavored foods, varying from pumpkin spice to caramel apple, will only be available for a limited amount of time. So if you’re looking for fun things to do and yummy food to try definitely venture out into D.C. to check out these great fall treats.
